MISSION

Bon Diablo creates art inspired by works that embody free expression, transforming their influence into support for human rights and creative freedom.

WHY?!

Because the music, the books, the films, and the moments that came before us lit the path. Our work is meant to stir memory, invite reflection, and spark dialogue that lingers and pushes people towards expression and impact. This is art with purpose. Art with a pulse. Art that stands up for the freedom to speak.

Every artwork is created with permission from rights‑holders, and when possible, signed by the original authors, musicians, or creators. These signed works become catalysts for impact: sold to raise funds for organizations defending the freedom to read, write, imagine, and create.

Bon Diablo is the next chapter for artist Tim Wakefield, founder of Soundwaves Art Foundation, whose music‑driven artworks have raised more than $15 million for global charities. Bon Diablo expands that mission into the broader landscape of free expression, honoring the stories and voices that shaped culture and continue to challenge censorship.

Art inspires us.

Freedom drives us.

Impact is the point.

WHO WE ARE:

Tim Wakefield — Artist & Founder

Creator of Soundwaves Art Foundation, Tim has spent more than a decade transforming creativity into impact. Tim Wakefield is a British-born, Texas-based artist and the founder of Soundwaves Art Foundation. After a decade of creating charity artwork with UK sports legends like David Beckham and Lewis Hamilton, Tim turned his attention to music. In 2005 he began experimenting with ways to turn the sound waves of songs into bold visual artworks. That process became the foundation of Soundwaves. He's collaborated with over 500 artists, from Paul McCartney to Billie Eilish, raising over $15 million for charity through limited-edition pieces signed by the musicians.

Bon Diablo is his new focus, a project rooted in the belief that free expression is worth protecting, celebrating, and fighting for.

Gray Delautre — Multimedia Artist

A bold young multimedia artist, Gray brings experimentation, energy, and a fresh visual language to Bon Diablo. His work pushes boundaries and invites viewers into deeper reflection and art designed to spark conversation and inspire people to create.

Leah Argersinger — Administration

Leah translates the artists’ vision into the stories, structure, and public‑facing narrative that define Bon Diablo. She shapes the language, builds the connective tissue, and ensures the mission is communicated with clarity, integrity, and heart.

Together, we’re a small team with a big belief:

Freedom of expression is the foundation of creativity and creativity is a force for change.
